Gaffney is home. Our shop is here and our crews stage here, so Cherokee County gets the fastest response we offer and the smallest jobs are still worth the trip. Custom crating, TV mounting, art and mirror hanging, gym and furniture assembly - all of it, no travel minimum.

If you have driven I-85 through Cherokee County you have driven past our service area. Exit 92, the Peachoid on the horizon, Limestone University a few minutes off the interstate - that is the middle of our map, not the edge of it. Everywhere else we work is measured out from here.

Gaffney's housing stock is genuinely mixed and that changes the work. The older mill-era houses off Frederick Street and around downtown have plaster over lath, real 2x4 framing on irregular centers, and chimney breasts that were never meant to carry a seventy-inch television. The newer subdivisions out toward Ford Road and the lake are engineered lumber, wide open great rooms and drywall that tells you nothing about what is behind it. Both need a stud finder you trust and a laser line before the first hole, and neither one forgives a guess.

Being local is also why the small jobs are worth doing here. One TV. A bed frame that arrived in three boxes. A mirror that has been leaning against a wall since the move. In Charlotte that is not an economic trip on its own; in Gaffney we are probably already five minutes away.

The other thing being based here changes is crating. For a fragile piece, building the crate at our shop and delivering it is often safer than building it on a customer's floor - there is no dust in the house, no compressor running in the hallway, and we can take the time to get the internal blocking right. Cherokee County customers get that option by default. Everyone else gets it when the piece can travel to us safely.

We also stage out of here for everything north and east. Blacksburg is ten minutes. Kings Mountain is about twenty. Shelby and Gastonia are half an hour or so up the road, and Charlotte is under an hour. That is why a Gaffney-based crew can genuinely cover two states without either end feeling like an afterthought.

Cherokee County work tends to run to the practical end - assembly, mounting, moving heavy things that two people should not be moving alone. But the specialty work travels here too. Grandfather clocks, pianos and framed pieces come through our shop from all over the area, because a crate does not care where it was built as long as it was built around the piece.
