Pool Tables, Furniture Assembly & Disassembly

We assemble and disassemble heavy furniture, including pool tables, beds, wardrobes and full office workstations. Flat-pack instructions assume you have done it before; we have done it a few thousand times. We unpack, sort the hardware, build it square, and take the boxes with us.

Both directions

Moving is where assembly work actually matters. We break a piece down so it survives the truck, then put it back together at the other end - same crew, same care.

What’s included

  • Pool tables, assembled and relocated
  • Beds, bunk beds and wardrobes
  • Desks, bookshelves and full office workstations
  • Heavy furniture moved and repositioned in the home
  • Disassembly and reassembly for moves
  • Hardware sorted, packaging hauled off
  • Built square and checked for wobble

High-value pieces: pianos, clocks, saunas and pool tables

Some pieces cannot simply be lifted and carried. They come apart in a specific order, and putting them back together wrong is worse than not moving them at all. This is the work we do most carefully.

Pianos: keys locked, action secured, legs and lyre removed in order, and the instrument crated if it is travelling any distance. Grandfather clocks: the movement stabilised, the weights, pendulum and chime rods removed and packed separately, every component labelled so it goes back exactly where it came from. Saunas and German schranks: dismantled at the joints they were designed to come apart at, rather than the ones that look easiest.

Pool tables are the one people underestimate. The assembly is straightforward; the levelling is the job, and slate that is out by a fraction is a table nobody wants to play on. We level it properly and check it before we pack up.

If a piece is going into storage, onto a truck or overseas after it comes apart, a crate built around it is the other half of the job. We do both.

Questions

Pool Tables, Furniture Assembly & Disassembly FAQ

Do you assemble pool tables?

Yes, and we take them apart for a move as well. A pool table is a levelling job more than an assembly job, and that is the part people underestimate.

What furniture do you assemble?

Pool tables, beds, tables, shelves, desks, chairs, wardrobes and full office workstations.

Do I need to supply tools?

No, we bring everything we need.

How long does it take?

Most pieces take one to two hours depending on size and complexity.

Do you do office furniture?

Yes, from a single desk to a full workstation setup.

Do you clean up?

Yes. We take the packaging with us and leave the space ready to use.

Can you take a piano apart for a move?

Yes. We lock the keys, secure the action and remove the legs and lyre in order. If it is travelling any distance we can crate it as well, which is the part that actually protects it.

What about a grandfather clock?

We stabilise the movement, then remove and pack the weights, pendulum and chime rods separately, labelling every component so it goes back exactly where it came from.

Do you handle saunas and other oversized built pieces?

Yes - saunas, German schranks, armoires and anything else that was built in place. We take it apart at the joints it was designed to come apart at, not the ones that look easiest.
